This shop is located along Whitehorse Road in Surrey Hill. The design concept derives from the bird farming house in the Southeast Asia, where the cubilose is produced. The translation of the materiality prototype is explored. Timber and concrete, which are the basic building materials for the farming house, are translated and articulated in an architectural and poetic way. The shop interior becomes a background and a bridge to connect cubilose's homeland and the purchaser's experience.
